We currently have an exciting opportunity available for a Truck Sales Consultant to join our New Truck Sales Team located in Nerang.

Job Summary:

This is an excellent opportunity for an experienced Sales Consultant to commence or continue their career in the commercial vehicle industry. This role will be responsible for selling new Hino trucks to new and existing customers, from a broad range of industries, and managing and growing those customer relationships.

What Are We Looking For?

We are seeking candidates for this position who:

  • Have exceptional communication and organisational skills
  • Have high attention to detail
  • Have strong work ethic and a willingness to achieve results
  • Current driver’s license with a clean driving history
  • Competent working in an office environment & working with computer systems including, but not limited to Microsoft Word, Excel & Outlook
  • Ability to work both autonomously and as part of a team
  • Most importantly, the successful application will come with a “can do” attitude and will be able to adapt within their role where required

What Will your typical day look like?

Working along-side our supportive Sales Team, you will be responsible for;

  • Developing and implementing effective sales strategies to achieve key sales targets
  • Manage and grow relationships with new and existing customers, suppliers and other key stakeholders
  • Identify potential sales opportunities by actively prospecting different industries within the market.
  • Communicate with outside suppliers for trucks body and equipment quotes
  • Follow up body builders on progress and completion dates of new trucks during build and delivery process.
  • Carry out and follow all aspects of the sales process, from sale through to delivery, and ensure customer satisfaction is maintained.
  • Attend Hino online and in person product knowledge and sales training sessions
