This role is based at Fortitude Valley and is part of a team primarily responsible for all IT Support and management across our dealership Group supporting a wide variety of cloud-based and on-premise solutions. Exposure to evolving technologies will be required as part of the role in meeting our internal requirements.

The role will work closely with the IT Servicedesk Support team and Infrastructure Services team to maintain all BAU operational environments and to enhance them through continuous improvement and project initiatives.

In addition to technical capabilities, effective communication, both written and verbal is a must. We’re open to applications from a variety of backgrounds.

About you:

  • Ideally degree qualified in IT/Business or a minimum of a Diploma of IT/Networking, CompTIA A+
  • Minimum of 7-10 years demonstrated ICT operations and support experience within the Microsoft environment
  • Solid experience across IT Service Desk, Desktop Support and Systems Support
  • Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written using phone/email
  • Ability to build trust and rapport within your team and end-users you support
  • A strong team player who is looking to keep their hands on the tools whilst motivating and leading a team in the delivery of IT Services
  • Lead and grow our IT Support team to align with the organisations culture and goals
  • Ability to work autonomously and as part of a team
  • Valid driver licence (driving to our other Dealership sites will be required)

About the Role:

  • Advanced Incident management skills which are ITIL aligned, advanced diagnosis and troubleshooting of Service desk tickets and providing quality and timely outcomes
  • Providing all desktop, networking, printing and ancillary equipment support
  • Create and deliver documentation relating to business-as-usual processes
  • Maintain an integrated IT environment that is fit-for-purpose in supporting the delivery of the objectives of the organisation
  • Demonstrate excellent technical ability across the Microsoft suite
  • Identify future system enhancements/improvements based on dealership requirements
  • Work with other technical specialists to transition delivery of systems and services into production
  • Measure the performance of the IT Support team to identify further training and development for continuous improvement regarding delivery of services
  • Contribute to the long-term planning and direction for the IT Services team
  • Occasional travel with overnight stays within Australia
