Sci-Fleet Motors is a family owned and operated business that has been servicing South East Queensland for over 40 years. Employing over 550 staff, Sci-Fleet has multiple Toyota, Lexus and Hino dealerships spanning across South East Queensland which look after all aspects of motoring including Parts, Service, Finance and Insurance.

Sci-Fleet Toyota currently has an opportunity for a qualified Qualified Light Vehicle Mechanic to join our Brendale Service Centre. Working closely with our Service Manager and our Service Centre team, you will:
• Provide advice on the mechanical condition of vehicles
• Repair mechanical parts of vehicles, i.e. engines, transmissions and suspension systems
• Report and document all necessary work, service or repairs
• Guide and support apprentice technicians
• Work within delegated timeframes
• Conduct log book servicing in accordance to manufacturers specification
• Conduct diagnosis of customer concerns and supply remedy of the situation
• Work alongside senior diagnostic technicians and follow direction as required

As our ideal candidate you will:
• Have strong repair skills on a variety of vehicles
• Have the ability to work proactively in an autonomous or team environment.
• Have high attention to detail & accuracy with an honest and reliable work ethic
• Take pride in their work and get the job done right, the first time
• Have intermediate PC skills & clear communication skills
• Hold a current and valid manual driver's license (Queensland)
• Hold an RWC licence (advantageous)
• Must hold a qualification - Certificate III in Automotive Mechanical Technology including relevant experience
• Supply own tools
• An ability to demonstrate Sci-Fleet values and behaviours
