The impressive car performance comes from combining Hybrid Camry's 4-cylinder Atkinson-cycle petrol engine with a powerful electric motor. Yet amazingly, Hybrid Camry produces only 142 grams of CO2* per kilometre and achieves a remarkable combined* fuel economy figure of just 6.0 litres per 100km. It's the first ever hybrid car to be built in Australia, designed to take you further, on less fuel.

Dashboard design with unique instrument cluster
Hybrid Camry's dashboard features a purpose-designed instrument cluster that varies the intensity of illumination to match your fuel economy while you drive. Its unique Optitron combination meter includes an instantaneous fuel economy meter, Eco Drive Level display and Eco-zone display which continually monitors your driving performance to ensure you're always driving at your most efficient.
Dual zone climate control air conditioning
Uniquely, Hybrid Camry's advanced air conditioning system is electrically driven. You can keep the temperature inside the car at optimal levels even when the petrol engine is switched off. An innovative "Eco mode" reduces the load on the engine so you won't lose efficiency while keeping the car cool.
Enhanced safety with reversing camera* and rear parking sensors~
For extra safety and confidence when reversing, the reversing camera* gives you a clear visual picture of what's behind you. The image is displayed on the 4.3 inch Display Audio Screen or optional 7" Satellite Navigation+ screen. The rear parking sensors~ also provide valuable assistance when reversing.
Keyless entry and push-button start
The Smart Entry/Smart Start system provides new levels of convenience. With your smart key in your pocket or bag, all you need to do is clasp the door handle to unlock the car doors. Then with the push of a button you can start Hybrid Camry courtesy of Smart Start.
Optional satellite navigation
The option of a state-of-the-art DVD-based satellite navigation+ unit is available for both Hybrid Camry models. With a larger 7" touch-screen monitor and premium audio system with woofer and two dual-cone speakers, you can focus on driving while your satellite navigation leads the way.
Premium steering wheel with inbuilt controls
Hybrid Camry's three-spoke premium steering wheel has in-built controls for the car's stereo, as well as the in-car Bluetooth™^ with navigation option.
Premium audio and Bluetooth™^ connectivity
The Premium audio system inside Hybrid Camry looks as good as it sounds. Combined with the Satellite Navigation+ System with a 7" full colour touch screen LCD display, it has a four-stack CD Changer, 3.5mm auxiliary audio input (located in the front console box), eight speakers including two dual-cone rear speakers, woofer and a two-channel 60W amplifier.
