700 Series
As the world changes, new potentials are being demanded from heavy-duty trucks. To meet that demand, we at HINO have created the revolutionary HINO 700 Series to be the new standard for trucks in the 21st century. These vehicles embody the five fundamental development objectives that describe the kind of trucks we are committed to building: environmentally friendly trucks that clear the highest international standards; trucks that generate revenue for our customers; trucks that smoothly and dependably transport the cargoes they carry; trucks with a higher load capacity; and trucks that are safe and pleasant to drive.Hino's heavy duty trucks for construction offer a completeness that will satisfy every owner, consignor and driver - and leave the competition behind. Take the wheel and experience the perfection.
Comfort
Inside the cab is a world of comfort. Professional drivers will appreciate the cab mounting suspension, the greater interior space and expanded headroom. And they'll love the centralized control switches that wrap around the driver, the clearly-visible backlit meters, and the easy-to-reach pendulum-type pedals that cut down on driving fatigue. Meanwhile, the new 3-step pitch has made cabin access easier and safer.
Safety
The biggest safety features are a powerful new engine retarder system and a rugged EGIS (Emergency Guard Impact Safety) cab with door impact beams, energy-absorbing steering wheel, 3-point seat belts and other advanced collision protection systems. Additional features include pendulum-type pedals that reduce fatigues, and under run design to prevent smaller vehicles from sliding under the front of the truck in a collision.
Load efficiency
The use of aluminium air tank, and the adoption of nylon tubing and taper leaf springs help decrease chassis weight, while ensuring tensile strength and rigidity.
Maintenance
The wide-opening front lid makes it easy to add oil or water. The increased cab tilt angle, centralized placement of periodically inspected engine elements, and placement of the fuse box inside the cab make for easier inspection and maintenance. The battery/electrical unit/air tank and the brake valves are consolidated into their own units, enabling centralized maintenance, and more efficient body mounting.
Fuel Economy
The engine develops high power and torque without sacrificing environmental performance thanks to an improved high pressure common rail type fuel injection system with computer control and a newly developed variable nozzle turbo charger.
